Duran was born October 7, 1893 in Ocate, New Mexico to Juan Duran and Fidelia Ortiz. He is survived by his niece Tina Normandin of Arvada, Colorado. He is preceded by his brother David S. Duran, March 1, 1990. Mass will be Tuesday in Rainsville, New Mexico at 1:30 p.m.

Arrangements through Berardinelli Mortuary, 983-4331. GARCIA, Benito, 19 A life long resident of Pojoaque, passed away following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Garcia was born June 5, 1971 in Santa Fe. New Mexico to Ben Garcia and Charlotte Garcia.

He was a Graduate of Pojoaque High School in 1989 where he was actively involved in the Art Club and many other student activities. He was an All District Athlete in Baseball. Soccer and Track and was also a member of the Scorpions Soccer Team. He attended Colorado Institute of Art and was currently at the U.N.M.L.A. Campus, Mr.

Garcia was a member of S.P.M.D.T.U. and an Officer in Student Government the at the U.N.M.-L.A. He was active in Our Lady of Guadalupe parish in Pojoaque. He is survived by his parents, Ben and Charlotte Garcia of Pojoaque: brother Juan Carlo Garcia of Pojoaque; sister. Angelina Garcia of Pojoaque.

He was a member of the Ventura County Bar Association, The Santa Fe Symphony ety and the Santa Fe Corral of Westerners International. Mr. Lopez was born April 26. 1910 in Santa Fe. New Mexico. He served in Municipal and State Government until his retirement from the Administrative Offices of the New Mexico Supreme Court in 1977.

Mr. Lopez maintained an political interest throughout his life. He ran as the Democratic nominee for Mayor of Santa Fe in 1950 and was the Democratic Chairman for the City between 1961 and 1962. He is survived by his wife Sadie of Santa Fe: daughter, Olivia Lopez Howden and husband John of Albuquerque; son Ralph W. Lopez and wife Mena of Santa Fe: and son Patrick L.

983-4331. LUJAN. Robert Edward who passed away February 13. in Santa Ana. California and was born February 9.

1936 in Santa Fe. NM. the only son of seven children born to Delfino Lujan and Frances Rovbal Lujan. Robert joined the Navy at the age of 17 and served our country for five vears as a diver on a mine' sweeper during the Korean War. He attended Long Beach State University where he met his beloved wife of 32 years.

Geneva Louise. They moved from Long Beach to Santa Ana in 1964 whith their four children. Gilda. Edward. Jeanette and Kathleen.

He was a very attentive and involved father. Robert was a foreman of operations with Shell Oil in Wilmington. CA for 33 years. Robert is survived by his devoted wife. Geneva.

his four children: eight grandchildren: Sarah. Diana. Mark. Timothy. Brittanee.

Ian. Nathan and Ashleigh. his father. six sisters: Pauline. Viola.

Sr. Charlotte. Bella. Melba. and Mary.

Many nieces and nephew's also survive. Bobby. as he was known in Fe, made his annual visits Santa Fe in August or September to visit his father, sisters, relatives friends. He will be greatly missed. Interment took place at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange.

Mr. Ortiz was retired from the Santa Fe Public Schools. Having served in the U.S. Army, he was a veteran of WWII. Mr.

Ortiz is survived by his wife. Ramona Ortiz of Santa Fe: daughters, Genevieve Reyes and husband Rudy of La Mesilla. Celia Medrano and husband Val of Santa Fe, Lupe Saiz and husband Anthony of Albuquerque, Lena Gonzales and husband Andrew of Santa Fe. Tina Ortiz of Santa Fe. Carmen Fierro of Santa Fe.

Angie Barbero and husband Gilbert of Santa Fe: two sons, Val Ortiz and wife Brenda of Arroyo Seca, and James Ortiz and wife Liz of Espanola: two grandsons raised by him, Joseph Lovato and Anthony. Harvey of Santa Fe: one granddaughter raised by him. Monica Ortiz: 29 grandchidren. 14, great grandchildren; brothers. Joe V.

Visitation will be today from 2:00 pm at McGee Memorial Chapel, where a parish Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm tonight. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 9:00 am Monday, March 4 at St. Francis Cathedral. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
