Luciano Padilla, iudicted for rap, waa tried and acquitted. In tbe cate ef Jamas B. Graham, ihdict-ad for murder at the laat term, it appeared that tba Sherifl bad failed to notify a material witness for the defensk, who was too far distant tp bo obtained during tbe term, and so the trial had to he postponed but was set. down peremptorily for the first dag of tbe uexl term. Juan Vaidax waa tried for breaking a fence near Tccelote, but waa acquitted.

Roman Martinez pletd guilty to illegal voting; bpl the offenck appearing to technical, only a fine was imposed. Lupien A. Clement was tried for drawing a piatol at a bail, and acquitted. Patricio Gonzales and Anaclmo Gonzales were tried for aasanlt with intent te kill; blit tbe prosecuting witness proved strangely oblivions, and there wet net sufficient evidence to convict. A number of persona were Indicted for permitting gaming, and fined fifty dollar and costa each.

Sixlo Chaves waa tried for assault on James H. Whitmore and acquitted. In the case of Guadalupe Campos, Indicted for assault With In to kill Joseph Saccon, the defeudaut waa found guilty and fiued fifty dollars. Wm. Chaffee, indicted for robbery was tried, but the jury failed to agree.
