Troop organizers, consultant, neighborhood and district chairmen met with the executive director for the council, Mias Virginia Hoffman and district advisors, Miss Mary Ellen Morrison, Miss Betsy Long and Mias Sharon Washburn to discuss service given to the individual troop in the council. Group sessions were organized for learning of resources, council policies and practice in working as teams.

Specific case problems were presented to each group for discussion and resolving. Mrs. Albert Kaufman, president of the board of directors of the council, explained the goals of the council. Evaluation of the program being offered the girls and of needs as well as service at the neighborhood teams completed the sessions. A program committee training session also was held and was attended by the chairman, Mrs.

Dean Meyer of Los Alamos; Mrs. Galen Ewing, camp committee chairman, Las Vegas; Mrs. Art-man, Clovis, and Mrs. Albert Ely and Mrs. James Bauer.

Attending the team training mmm JUDITH RASKIN most popular artists soprano Judith Raskin will make her debut Friday evening, Feb. 23, at New Yorks famous Metropolitan Opera. Miss Raskin telephoned Frank Magee, public relations director of the opera Tuesday to tell him the exciting news. Magee had just returned to Santa Fe to begirt Lowell Greens Are Grandparents Mrs. Lowell Green departed Wednesday for Berkeley, to welcome her new grandson upon his arrival at home from the hospital.

The young man, to be christened Justin Lane Green, is the first son and only child of Mr. and Mrs. Jere Green. He made his appearance on Feb. 17, weighing in at six pounds, 15 ounces.

Justin Lane is the third grandchild for Mr. and Mrs. Green. He, is liberally endowed with grandparents, his maternal grandparents being Mr. and Mrs.

William E. Cook of Garland, Texas. His paternal grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. H.

C. Green of Clovis and Mrs. S. E. Lane of Clovis.

season which opens July 4. Miss Raskin has been asked to sing the role of Susanna in Mozarts The Marriage of Figaro." Her interpretation of the role will be familiar to audiences of the Santa Fe Opera who heard her sing the part in performances during the 1961 season. Miss Raskin has had two seasons with the Santa Fe Opera having made her debut here in 1958 as Musetta in that seasons La Boheme. Last season in addition to her appearances as Susanna, she was highly praised for her singing of Sophie in Richard Strauss Der Rosenkavalier. The two intervening seasons 1959 and 1960 Miss Raskin sang with the Central City Opera.

One of the brighter luminaries of the New York concert stage, Miss Raskin has, for some years, been a major artist with the New York City Opera. During the forthcoming summer, she travels to England to make her debut with the Glynde-bourne Festival in that country. Mousseau Family Visits Museum Recent visitors to the Navajo Museum were the David Mousseau family of the Sioux Indian Tribe. Mousseau works with the United Pueblo Agency in Albuquerque. The visit was urged by their daughter, Diane, a student at St.

Katherines here in Santa Fe. Diane toured the Museum with her school group several months ago and was eager for her brother and parents to share her pleasure in the Navajo exhibits. JENANN KENNEDY of Hurley, grand worthy advisor of the Order of the Rainbow for Girls, is here to make her official visit to the Santa Fe Assembly this evening. Prior to the meeting scheduled at the Masonic Lodge, Miss Kennedy is to be guest of honor at a banquet at the Town House. Mrs W.

Chapter Plans Spring Socials LOS ALAMOS -Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held a regular meeting recently at the home of Mrs. Donald Holliway. Plans were made for several spring socials. Mrs. Michael Bennett presented the program, Jewelry," and Mrs.
